DTS Kaka

The next step after the Fast Foot Work classes. DTS Kaka will emphasize on first touch, moves under high pressure, finishing on goal and overall ball control. Age 10-14 This is an advanced class. Show Class Schedule Hide Class Schedule

 

DTS Beckham

A specific class designed for players that have succesfully passed through the Powershooting classes. Curriculum will consist of passing and shooting with a curve, free kicks, crossing the ball off the dribble and much more. Age 10-14 This is an advanced class. DTS Messi

The curriculum will consist of moves/tricks to beat the defender in 1v1 situations. This class will differ from the Fast Foot Work classes in that more will be demanded of the players. DTS Elite Academy

A 2 hour class in which top level players will be challenged in the Dutch philosophy of constant movement with the ball. The first hour will consist of skill training, where players will learn the proper timing of certain moves in order to become more efficient with the ball. Be prepared to work! There will be quite a bit of emphasis on the tactical execution of positioning in small sided games. The second hour will be small sided games where situation coaching will be used by the trainer to reinforce the skills and training from the first hour Only players on a premier or flight 1 team will be accepted. DTS Select Mission

---

DTS Summer Select is an advanced program within Soccer Centers. The select teams, with players coming from both within NJ and outside New Jersey, will compete in competitive tournaments during the summer.

DTS Select is committed to offering quality training and coaching by our professional coaches to the youth players of New Jersey. All trainers and coaches involved with DTS Select are educated at the C.I.O.S. Academy or the KNVB in the Netherlands. They all have great experience training and coaching youth teams in all parts of Holland at a variety of levels. Soccer Centers stands for the Dutch philosophy of soccer, which will be taught to the children.

 

 

Program Description

The program was extremely successful last summer. Our teams did very well in the tournaments. Most importantly the players grew as players and had a good time doing it.

DTS Summer Select will start this November with try-outs. In the schedule below you will see the dates and times when they will be held. After every try-out, there will be a 'Call Back'. This means that we will send an additional invitation to the players, which we believe can make the team. After the 'Call Back' (second try-out), we will finalize the teams and we will congratulate those players who have been selected for DTS.

Practices begin March 2010. Before that date, we will conduct a parent meeting to discuss all aspects of the DTS experience. Starting in March, on Sunday evening, we will have a training session for 2 hours. Each team will have two professional trainers assigned to them. Starting in June we will hold midweek training sessions. In addition, we will organize special camps for our DTS teams. In the weekends of July, we will compete in 3 to 6 tournaments throughout the tri-state region. We will continually be scheduling additional scrimmages and even winter tournaments at Soccer Centers for additional practice.

Uniforms are included. There is an additional charge for the camps listed below. They are optional, but strongly encouraged.

DTS teams formed in December will be asked to guest periodically in Soccer Centers winter tournaments.

Be aware that DTS Summer Select is not meant to take the place of the players existing team. These Select teams are to be used for additional training for the players. The teams will play between 3 to 6 tournaments, depending on the age group. Parents will have to sign a waiver that players will not be recruited to join other teams or to form a DTS regular season team. Soccer Centers is very cognizant about disrupting regular season teams.

DTS Summer Select is an Academy under US Club, if your child is already carded with another team, DTS will be the secondary team, which allows for dual carding. This will not conflict with your spring season.

Our DTS Summer Select program will be a great experience for the parent, coach and child. Soccer Centers works very hard to make this a positive, fun experience for all.
